Content Writer / Scriptwriter

The Content Writer / Scriptwriter will be responsible for creating compelling scripts and written content that reflect our brand voice and captivate our audience. This role supports on-air programming, promotions, digital content, and special campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Write engaging scripts for radio shows, segments, and promos

Develop content for news bulletins and talk programs

Create promotional copy for on-air ads and sponsorship spots

Draft social media captions and website blog posts

Collaborate with presenters and producers to align content with show themes

Conduct research to ensure accuracy and relevance

Edit and proofread scripts before production

Meet deadlines in a fast-paced broadcast environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in content writing, scriptwriting, or broadcasting

Excellent storytelling and writing skills

Strong understanding of audience engagement techniques

Ability to write in a conversational, radio-friendly tone

Strong research and fact-checking skills

Ability to meet tight deadlines

Familiarity with radio, podcast, or media production is a plus

Qualifications

Experience writing for radio or podcasts

Knowledge of current trends in media and entertainment

Basic understanding of SEO and digital content writing
