DevOps Architect

Location: New York City, NY

Salary: $130,000.00 USD Annually - $160,000.00 USD Annually

Description:

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

DevOps, SRE, Unix, Cloud, Docker, Containerization

React, NodeJS, Python

Familiarity with UI/UX Design and any database

Roles & Responsibilities

Own end-to-end technical architecture spanning frontend, backend, APIs, data layer, and system integrations

Define reference architectures, technology standards, and design principles that balance scalability, security, performance, and cost optimization

Drive long-term architectural decisions with consideration for future extensibility and business growth

Optimizing the websites for maximum speed and scalability

Developing application codes and unit tests in React, NodeJS and Rest Web Services.

Creating python APIs (synchronous and asynchronous) using flask and fastapi

Maintaining and configuring MongoDB instances and ensuring that databases achieve maximum performance and availability

Testing the APIs and interpreting test results

Solving complex problems with multi-layered data sets, as well as optimizing existing APIs

Version Control with Git

Unit Testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD)

Coordinate with teams, stakeholders to develop insightful dashboards and interactive tools
