IT Project Manager (Enterprise Projects)
Overview:
The IT Project Manager will be responsible for leading large-scale, enterprise-wide technology initiatives from planning through delivery. This role requires strong coordination, technical understanding, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to manage complex project environments involving multiple stakeholders and technology teams.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution
Develop detailed project plans, tasks, activities, and milestones in coordination with IT teams and key business stakeholders.
Prepare and execute comprehensive plans covering quality control, risk management, change management, testing, and associated areas.
Deliver results according to defined timelines, dependencies, and technical specifications.
Technical & Architectural Coordination
Review architectural documentation and oversee system dependencies.
Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure scalable, resilient solutions.
Manage interactions between project teams and technology office resources.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Management
Coordinate multiple workstreams and ensure adherence to project goals and plans.
Report project status, risks, and progress regularly to leadership and stakeholders.
Communicate effectively with business leaders to maintain release schedules.
Develop and maintain productive relationships across stakeholders, end users, and vendors.
Governance, Documentation & Standards
Manage project scope, monitor change requests, and ensure compliance with internal methodologies and quality guidelines.
Prepare project documentation such as requirements, status reports, plans, and remediation actions.
Maintain project dashboards, metrics, and reporting artifacts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated success delivering large, enterprise-wide IT implementations.
Experience managing projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
PMP, CSM, or similar professional certifications.
Experience delivering AI-focused projects preferred.
Strong leadership in a matrixed environment.
Ability to translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience conducting efficient and productive project meetings.
Background in government security and regulatory frameworks is a plus.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
10+ years of overall IT experience.
8+ years of experience managing projects end-to-end (scope ? delivery) with financial accountability.
5+ years of hands-on experience managing large-scale enterprise IT programs.
Experience preparing detailed project documentation.
Proficiency in JIRA or similar PM tools.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
