About the Role

This role involves performing mechanical and electrical qualification testing-specifically shock and vibration-on system hardware. The position requires maintaining accurate test logs, analyzing real-time data, and generating clear technical reports to document requirements verification. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, disciplined in following procedures, and comfortable working with test equipment in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

Execute shock and vibration qualification tests on system hardware.

Maintain detailed and organized logs of all test events.

Prepare formal technical reports demonstrating compliance with test objectives and requirements.

Use general electrical and mechanical test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, DAQs, and power supplies.

Monitor real-time data and make informed decisions during testing.

Review analog signals and interpret measurement results.

Read and understand electrical schematics for troubleshooting tasks.

Collect, catalog, and present test data to internal stakeholders.

Provide recommendations based on test outcomes.

Communicate test status and results to leadership and interdisciplinary teams.

Prepare and deliver data reviews to mixed technical audiences.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of technical writing experience.

Minimum 1 year of mechanical testing experience (shock and vibration).

Minimum 1 year of electrical testing experience (troubleshooting).

Strong ability to follow detailed test procedures with high accuracy.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Experience with environmental qualification testing at component level.

Knowledge of general test equipment (multimeters, scopes, DAQs, power supplies).

Ability to read electrical schematics and perform troubleshooting.

Experience analyzing analog signals and real-time data.

Experience working with interdisciplinary engineering teams.

Ability to lead or present technical reviews confidently.
