Domain Architect

Location: Plano, TX; Hybrid - 4 days a week onsite

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Responsibilities

Define domain technology strategy, target state, and roadmaps.

Lead all architecture activities within the domain.

Design scalable, secure, resilient distributed systems (DDD, microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture).

Build and maintain business capability maps and architecture artefacts.

Provide technical leadership, mentor teams, and conduct code/design reviews.

Collaborate with cross-domain architects and business stakeholders.

Support architecture for treasury and payment solutions.

Requirements

15+ years total experience; 5+ years in Enterprise Architecture.

Strong background in business architecture and capability-based planning.

Proven expertise with cloud-native solutions and modern engineering practices.

Proficiency in Java/C#/Python and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Nice to Have

Experience in financial services, especially treasury, accounting, or payments.

Certifications like TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect.

Experience migrating legacy systems to cloud
