Appian Developer

Location: North Quincy, MA (Onsite)

Employment: Fulltime

Responsibilities

Develop and implement Appian applications and web-based solutions.

Provide technical guidance to mid-level developers when needed.

Understand the differences between REST vs. SOAP and core principles of integrating with web services.

Collaborate with business users to convert business requirements into technical designs, including data mapping and loading into data warehouses.

Build critical Appian-based applications and associated integration components in Java.

Develop Appian BPM applications and integrate them with external or COTS systems.

Estimate, size, and plan Appian business requirements; serve as a problem-solver during design and development.

Debug and troubleshoot Interfaces, SAIL forms, and Process Models.

Requirements

Appian Analyst and Appian Designer Level certifications required.

Ability to lead a distributed engineering team.

Strong understanding of at least one major programming language (Java, Python, etc.).

Hands-on experience with Appian Sites and complex SAIL forms.

Experience executing multiple integrations with external systems.

Ability to scope, size, and estimate Appian projects.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
