About the Role

In this contingent assignment, you will partner with cross-functional engineering and business teams to drive large-scale, complex software initiatives. You'll apply deep technical expertise and strong analytical skills to evaluate multi-layered engineering challenges-including those with ambiguous or unprecedented considerations-and help inform strategic decision-making.

You will provide guidance on engineering best practices, assess technical risks, and support the development of solutions that align with organizational policies, security standards, and compliance requirements. This role also involves close collaboration with client stakeholders to understand business needs and influence long-term technical direction.

Responsibilities

Consult on complex, high-impact engineering initiatives and large-scale technical planning efforts.

Review, diagnose, and analyze multi-faceted software engineering challenges requiring evaluation of diverse technical factors.

Contribute to solution strategies for ambiguous or complex technical scenarios, ensuring adherence to engineering standards, compliance guidelines, and organizational processes.

Partner with client teams and technical leaders to drive alignment on engineering approaches, priorities, and deliverables.

Provide technical insights to support decision-making across product, engineering, and business teams. Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent experience gained through a combination of:

Direct industry work

Consulting roles

Technical training or certification programs

Military service

Formal education in a related field
