About the Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer skilled in C++ development to design, develop, and maintain software solutions for secure, mission-critical applications. This role involves working in a classified environment and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality embedded and software systems.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, conduct, and coordinate end-to-end software development activities.

Design, code, test, debug, and document C++ applications for secure processing systems.

Develop new embedded applications and maintain legacy code bases.

Enhance CI/CD pipelines to improve development workflows.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build prototypes and production-ready systems.

Troubleshoot defects, enhance system functionality, and resolve issues related to program logic, inputs, outputs, and control flows.

Ensure all software meets organizational standards for security, performance, and quality.

Prepare documentation, operating instructions, and development reports.

Qualifications

These are required to proceed with a candidate:

1-2 years of hands-on experience with C++ programming

Solid understanding of software development life cycle

Ability to debug and maintain software in embedded or low-level environments

Experience writing documentation, test cases, and operational instructions

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have Skills)

Bare-metal programming

Embedded C/C++ development

Hardware driver development

Experience with secure systems/software

Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.)

Experience with mission-critical, defense, or aerospace environments
