Python Developer

Location: Wilmington, DE

Salary: $60.00 USD Hourly - $65.00 USD Hourly

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Python Developer to design, build, and deliver production-grade software and AI/ML solutions. This role is onsite in Wilmington, DE, and Columbus, OH, offering the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to high-impact projects.

Responsibilities

Develop, review, and debug production-quality Python code.

Build and maintain features, components, and services.

Design and implement machine learning models and pipelines.

Participate in system and platform design discussions.

Enforce SDLC best practices and security standards.

Solve complex, ambiguous technical problems.

Collaborate across product, data, and infrastructure teams.

Mentor junior engineers and share best practices.

Make independent technical and design decisions.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in Python development.

Strong background in production software engineering.

Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and DevOps practices.

Nice to Have

Experience with LLMs, RAG pipelines, and vector databases.

Exposure to financial services or other regulated industries.

Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices.
