Design Engineer

Contract 6+ Months

30 + Opening with one of My Aerospace client

Top Skill Sets:

Aero design

Landing gear

Hydraulics

Structural assessments

Weight assessments

Propulsion

Experience:

Need experienced Design Engineers (level III at a minimum).

focus on Designers

Experience working through concept and PDR (Preliminary Design Review)

Tools: familiarity with CATIA (preferably v. 5), MATLAB

MUST have bachelor's degree

Preferred Experience:

Ability to assist with supplier SOWs and proposal writing

DoD experience preferred but not mandatory. Civilian aircraft design experience is fine, rocket design experience is also ok

Prior testing experience

Responsibilities:

Review requirements and refresh design that was set per those requirements

Perform hydraulic system, avionics and structural assessments

Assist with design review and requirements review. Ability to explain their area of responsibility in a proposal
