Position: Embedded Software Engineer

Location: Chandler, AZ (Onsite)

As part of the Strike Weapons Program, you'll contribute to mission-critical systems that shape national security and global stability. We're looking for engineers who are passionate about embedded systems, thrive in collaborative environments, and are driven by innovation and purpose.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test embedded real-time software for launch vehicle systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and architecture.

Implement software using C/C++ in Linux-based environments.

Integrate and validate software in real-time and hardware-in-the-loop test setups.

Ensure compliance with software engineering standards and best practices.

Troubleshoot and resolve software issues across the development lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.

Proficiency in object-oriented programming using C/C++ on Linux platforms.

Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, or Yocto Linux.

Hands-on experience in embedded software development, debugging, and testing.

Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with PowerPC, ARM, or RISC-V architectures.

Background in real-time computer-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop testing environments.

Knowledge of weapon system integration and interface development.
