Technical Architect

Location: Jersey City, NJ; Pennington, NJ; Charlotte, NC

Employment Type: Full-time

Must-Have Technical/Functional Skills

Strong expertise in Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, REST API, and Microservices

Experience with Kafka, Cloud platforms, Kubernetes

Solid understanding of Agile concepts and CI/CD practices

10+ years of professional experience in software development and architecture

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership with 10+ years of experience in enterprise application development.

Work extensively with Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, REST API, Microservices, Kafka, Cloud, Mulesoft, MQ, and Kubernetes.

Apply object-oriented programming principles and Agile methodologies to deliver scalable solutions.

Design and implement reusable Java libraries and ensure clean, maintainable code.

Utilize concurrency patterns and microservice architecture best practices.

Collaborate on database design and integration (external and embedded).

Ensure applications follow scalable design principles and performance optimization strategies.

Demonstrate knowledge of JVM internals, limitations, and workarounds.

Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests.

Use version control tools such as Git effectively.

Work with build tools including Ant, Maven, and Gradle.

Apply knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Kafka, MQ, Splunk, SQL, and performance improvement techniques.

Managerial & Leadership Skills

Proactive, results-oriented leader with proven ability to mentor and motivate teams.

Strong communication, collaboration, and team-building skills.

Ability to quickly grasp new technical concepts and guide teams in adopting them.
