Description:
This role supports a mission-critical CRM platform operating within a highly controlled IT environment. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and production support resources to ensure accurate validation, controlled deployments, and overall platform stability.
The engagement may include participation in:
Release planning activities
Change management and control reviews
Production readiness assessments
Post-implementation and production support
Strict adherence to segregation-of-duties, internal controls, and audit standards is required.
Preferred Skill Sets
Strong hands-on experience with CRM platforms, including configuration, customization, and deployment support
Demonstrated experience working in regulated or audit-driven environments, including SOX compliance and segregation-of-duties requirements
Proven ability to support or execute production deployments while complying with formal change management and control processes
Experience reviewing technical designs, configurations, and system changes to ensure readiness for production release
Solid understanding of:
Application lifecycle management (ALM)
Incident and problem management
Root cause analysis
Strong documentation skills, including:
Deployment procedures
Technical specifications
Operational runbooks
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business partners, IT teams, and external vendors
Experience mentoring junior team members or providing knowledge transfer to internal staff is highly desirable Technical Environment & Tooling
Cloud Infrastructure:
Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure for managing environments, data flows, and troubleshooting CRM-related issues
Data & Analytics Tools:
Experience with SQL, Power BI, Power Query, and Tableau for reporting, analysis, and operational insights
CRM Configuration:
CRM backend work is performed through platform configuration and setup (e.g., object configuration, workflows, permissions)
Custom code (e.g., Apex) is not used for this role
Enterprise Integrations:
Familiarity with enterprise workflow tools and CRM integrations is a strong plus Other Requirements
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Availability to support planned releases and occasional after-hours work during critical production deployments or incident resolution
Prior experience in healthcare, insurance, or similarly complex enterprise environments is preferred but not required
