About the Role

This role focuses on designing, architecting, developing, deploying, and operating a modern DevSecOps software factory supporting complex engineering programs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, modernize end-of-life tooling, and migrate teams to updated platforms. The role offers a collaborative environment with diverse projects and cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Perform trade studies and evaluate alternatives for an end-of-life peer review tool.

Lead cross-functional teams to prototype solutions and secure stakeholder alignment.

Build and productionize a replacement tool for peer review workflows.

Define migration plans and transition multiple teams to the new tool.

Support design and architecture of DevSecOps pipelines and tooling.

Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Embedded Software, Test Automation, and DevSecOps teams in an Agile environment.

Contribute to continuous build, integration, testing, deployment, cyber, and metrics workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field + 14 years of related experience

OR Master's + 12 years

OR Ph.D. + 9 years

Experience with peer review tools (e.g., Crucible).

Experience with at least one OOP language (Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, Python, Swift).

Hands-on experience with change management tools (Jira, ClearQuest, Asana).

Experience using CI tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo.

Experience with configuration management systems (Git, GitLab, Bitbucket, Subversion).

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

Cloud architect-level certifications (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, VMware).

Experience leveraging AI for improving peer review quality.

Cloud solution architecture experience.
