BI Engineer - Tableau/DevOps

Salary: $80.00 USD Hourly - $90.00 USD Hourly

Description:

We're looking for a seasoned BI Engineer who thrives at the intersection of data, analytics, and modern DevOps practices. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building high-impact reporting solutions while also supporting scalable, automated deployment pipelines.

What You'll Bring

5+ years of experience designing and developing data-centric solutions, with a strong focus on business intelligence, reporting, and analytics.

3+ years architecting and delivering enterprise-grade reporting solutions using the Tableau ecosystem.

Experience with Tableau Server is a plus.

A public cloud portfolio (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is highly valued.

3+ years working with modern DevOps toolchains, including:

CI/CD pipeline development

GitHub for source control

Jenkins for pipeline orchestration

Kubernetes / Rancher for containerized deployments

Python for debugging and automation

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues end-to-end

Proven ability to optimize performance for complex Tableau dashboards, visualizations, and large-scale datasets.

Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases, data systems, and data warehouse architectures.

Advanced proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data management concepts.

Hands-on scripting experience with Shell, Python, or similar languages.

Ability to translate business needs into actionable reporting and analytics solutions through close collaboration with stakeholders.
