We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer – Unix/Shell to contribute to our Wholesale Digital Banking team, delivering secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment.

What You'll Do

Develop and maintain Digital Banking applications for Wholesale Banking customers

Build responsive front-end components using React, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML

Support backend integrations and services within Oracle database environments

Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts for batch jobs, deployments, and automation tasks

Perform application troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning

Support deployments across HPUX, Linux, and Solaris environments

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams

Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and estimations

Ensure compliance with banking security, audit, and regulatory standards

Prepare technical documentation and management reports as required

What You Bring

Must-have:

6–9 years of experience in software development and production support

Strong hands-on experience in React, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML

Experience working in Unix environments (HPUX, Linux, Solaris)

Proven experience developing and maintaining Unix shell scripts

Strong knowledge of Oracle database and SQL fundamentals

Experience in application troubleshooting and performance optimization

Good understanding of SDLC and change management processes

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skill

Nice-to-have:

Experience with Java, JSP, Spring Framework, XML, and SQL

Exposure to AEM Forms/Sites, TeamSite, or Web Content Management (WCM) platforms

Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Experience working in Agile environments

Knowledge of management reporting processes within banking systems
