Job Description

The Yard & Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and functionality of office buildings, yard facilities, and company assets. This role supports day-to-day facility operations through general cleaning, groundskeeping, basic repairs, and fleet support. The position requires a proactive individual who can perform a variety of maintenance tasks while ensuring a safe and well-maintained work environment.

Responsibilities

Facility Cleaning & Upkeep

Perform routine cleaning of offices, break rooms, restrooms, and shared workspaces.

Sweep, mop, dust, and maintain floors and surfaces throughout the facility.

Empty trash receptacles and maintain clean, sanitary environments.

Grounds Maintenance

Maintain outdoor areas including lawns, walkways, and yard spaces.

Mow grass, remove debris, and ensure facilities remain presentable.

Collect and dispose of trash from facility grounds.

Facility Support

Assist with general building upkeep and minor repairs.

Monitor facility conditions and report maintenance needs.

Help maintain building fixtures and equipment.

Inventory & Supply Management

Unload and store facility supplies.

Restock kitchens and break areas with cups, utensils, paper towels, and related items.

Maintain beverage coolers and ensure supplies are available for employees and visitors.

Fleet & Equipment Support

Wash and maintain company vehicles.

Assist with basic vehicle upkeep and minor repairs when needed.

Support yard organization and equipment cleanliness.

Skills and QualificationsEducation & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience in facilities maintenance, janitorial work, or yard support preferred.

Experience working in industrial, oilfield, or outdoor environments is a plus.

Technical Skills

Basic knowledge of building maintenance and minor repairs.

Ability to safely operate common maintenance tools and lawn equipment.

Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle support is beneficial.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and move supplies, equipment, and materials.

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Comfortable performing physically active tasks throughout the workday.

Professional Skills

Strong work ethic and reliability.

Good organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Attention to cleanliness and facility presentation.

Positive attitude and willingness to assist with a variety of tasks.

Job Details

Pay: $16-$20/per hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday
