The Safety Manager will oversee construction-related activities taking place on the 18th floor of the North Market Towers, specifically within the Equipment Room area. This short-term project requires a strong field presence to monitor active work, ensure compliance with OSHA standards, and support safe execution of tasks in a vertical construction environment.
The role will focus on real-time safety oversight, hazard identification, and coordination with on-site crews and supervision. The Safety Manager will be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment in a high-rise setting, addressing risks associated with elevated work areas, equipment use, and trade coordination. Qualifications
OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 certification
Minimum of 3 years of construction safety experience
Experience supporting active job sites in a field-based safety role Additional Requirements
Ability to work at height in a high-rise construction environment
Strong communication skills with field crews and supervision
Ability to enforce safety standards and address unsafe conditions
Reliable transportation to the job site Key Responsibilities
Oversee and monitor work activities on the 18th floor equipment room area
Enforce OSHA standards and site-specific safety requirements
Conduct job site safety observations and hazard assessments
Address unsafe conditions and stop unsafe work when necessary
Coordinate with supervisors and crews to maintain compliance
Document safety observations, issues, and corrective actions
