Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

American Excelsior Company is seeking a Saw Operator to join our 2nd Shift (M-F 1:30pm-10:00pm) Foam Fabrication team. Key Responsibilities

Uses tape measurer frequently & accurately down to 1/16 of an inch

Sets up and adjusts large foam blocks or sheets to be cut

May also operate horizontal skiver saw

Reads and carries out job orders and carefully and safely operates saw

Responsible for individual quality standards at all times

Follows Company established policies and safety procedures

Follows directions/instructions from immediate supervisor and safely and effectively applies those instructions

Minimum Requirements

Experience with industrial equipment

Strong math skills

Ability to work with measurement devices (tape measure or ruler)

Ability to work with little supervision

Ability to work on a manufacturing team

Solid computer skills

Print reading experience preferred

Basic data entry of production information

Ability to read and follow work instructions

Compensation and Benefits

Starting wage is $20.15 per hour

Additional $1.50 per hour shift premium for 2nd shift
