Mid-Ohio Food Collective (MOFC) is seeking a detail oriented, highly organized Inventory Coordinator to join our team.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate inventory records, smooth warehouse operations, and effective product distribution across our network.

Key Responsibilities * Validate and maintain product and order records, including item catalog updates.
* Generate receipts for donors, including retail pickup receipts upon request.
* Provide item history, stock trace IDs, and product locations to the operations team.
* Resolve order issues in collaboration with Agency Services and Operations teams.
* Prepare allocations using Sales Orders for distribution to cluster members and deliver tickets to Dry and Perishable Foods Managers.
* Support product recall monitoring and distribution processes.
* Maintain accurate donor and product records to support daily operations.
* Process work orders for Reclamation and CSFP programs.
* Support TEFAP allocations for Partner Distribution Organizations.
* Investigate order complaints and inventory discrepancies exceeding the 2% threshold and recommend solutions.
* Assist in scheduling inbound loads and updating the incoming products calendar.
* Help maintain location data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for accurate inventory placement.
* Perform daily cycle counts and monthly physical counts for governmental inventories, including report preparation.
* Reconcile physical inventory and deliveries to MOFC facilities.
* Identify and recommend improvements for inventory visibility and tracking processes.
* Proactively communicate emerging inventory issues to the Inventory Manager.
* Support, train, and educate warehouse team members on inventory policies, procedures, and WMS workflows.
* Prepare the weekly Capacity Report.
* Conduct weekly audits on pallet IDs and off list inventory and perform audits on WMS transactions.
* Process warehouse scrap transactions and maintain quarantine locations in WMS.
* Adhere to Feeding America standards and support third party food safety audit preparation.
* Ensure FEFO (first expired, first out) methodology is used for all order transactions.
* Build strong working relationships with internal teams and stakeholders.
* Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education & Experience * High School Diploma/GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
* Food Safety Certification provided by Mid Ohio Food Collective.
* Minimum of three years of experience in a fast paced warehouse environment, including operation of inventory control systems.
* Experience with pallet jacks and forklifts preferred.
* Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and warehouse operations.
* Excellent math, organization, critical thinking, and communication skills required; Microsoft Office experience needed; WMS experience preferred.
Working Conditions This role regularly works in both office and warehouse settings, including exposure to varying climates and occasional sub freezing temperatures.
Daily walking, bending, standing, lifting, and interaction with heavy machinery are part of this safety sensitive position.
