Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electronic Technician to support the troubleshooting, testing, evaluation, and repair of electronic products at the component level. This is a hands-on bench role ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, using professional test equipment, and supporting both Production and Engineering teams.
Duties
Troubleshoot and repair analog, digital, and RF electronic assemblies
Perform component-level diagnosis and repair (resistors, capacitors, ICs, etc.)
Interpret schematics, diagrams, drawings, and written specifications
Operate test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators
Provide technical support to Production and Engineering teams
Support development and upkeep of procedures and work instructions
Identify opportunities to improve designs and processes
Calibrate and maintain test stations and lab equipment
Requirements
Strong understanding of electronics fundamentals and schematic interpretation
Logical troubleshooting/debugging ability
SMT hand soldering experience
Comfortable handling small components with strong hand-eye coordination
Ability to research components and datasheets online
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Mechanical skills using common hand tools and power tools
Education & Experience
Associate's degree in Electronic Technology (or equivalent experience)
2+ years experience in electronics repair and/or mechanical assembly
IPC Soldering and IPC ESD certifications preferred (not required)
Knowledge of proper ESD handling practices
What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days
Fully trained on internal repair processes, ESD practices, and documentation standards
Independently troubleshooting common failures across multiple product types
Confident use of oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators
Consistently completing accurate repairs with minimal rework
Communicating repair findings and failure trends to Production and Engineering
Contributing at least one improvement idea to enhance quality or efficiency
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
Work Authorization
Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
