Software Engineer

Join the Enterprise Corrections team at Tyler Technologies as a Software Engineer! As a full stack engineer, you will work with a wide range of technologies such as .NET, Angular, HTML5, SQL, and Cloud/AWS building scalable solutions that empower our clients and support mission-critical outcomes.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain .NET based applications and services.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle: analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.

Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and business analysts to solve complex technical problems.

Advocate for best practices in architecture, design patterns, naming conventions, and code quality.

Contribute to Agile team ceremonies and continuous improvement efforts.

Ensure long-term success of Enterprise Corrections products by delivering reliable, high-quality technical solutions.

Continuously grow technical skills through independent research and hands-on learning.

Qualifications

BS/BA in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience

1-3 years of software design and development experience with conventional technologies

Experience with .NET and C#

Experience with JavaScript and frontend development

Superior communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills is a must

Demonstrated ability for effective multi-tasking and tracking deliverables and timelines

Ability to be successful working on highly visible deliverables

Demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate across team or division boundaries

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with AWS services including Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB

Experience with Node.js

Experience with WPF
