Licensed Practical Nurse, Long-Term Care, Great Bend, Kansas, United States. This travel assignment begins on 03/18/2026 and runs for 8 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,364 to $1,435, with guaranteed hours 36–48 per week. You’ll work 12-hour nights (6:00 PM–6:00 AM), on a Thurs–Wed work week. The position is in a skilled nursing facility providing long-term care. Note: this assignment requires relocation, and there are no local candidates within 50 miles.

Responsibilities

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, documenting administration and resident response.

- Monitor resident health status, perform routine assessments, and report changes to the supervising nurse.

- Provide bedside care, assist with activities of daily living, and ensure resident safety and comfort.

- Perform basic nursing procedures within scope of practice, including wound care and specimen collection, and manage supplies.

- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the patient chart and participate in care planning with the interdisciplinary team.

- Collaborate with licensed staff to support care transitions and respond promptly to resident needs during night shifts.

Requirements

- Willingness to relocate for an 8-week travel assignment and to work in a long-term care setting.

- Availability to work 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM–6:00 AM) as part of a Thurs–Wed schedule.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with a nursing team and maintain accurate charting.

- Comfort providing bedside care to residents in a long-term care environment.

- Travel assignment with acceptance of location-based constraints (no locals within 50 miles).
