Maintenance Mechanic: Delavan, Wisconsin

Our customer in Delavan, Wisconsin is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re hiring Maintenance Mechanics to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring equipment runs safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic:

Perform work involving the skills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines running.

Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions.

Repair broken or faulty machine parts, and align and calibrate machine parts.

Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions.

Adjust functional parts of devices or control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges.

Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or precision measuring instruments or electrical/electronic testing devices.

Order parts, supplies, or equipment from catalogs or suppliers.

Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.

Maintenance Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.

Experience working with lathes, mills, and CNC machines as a maintenance mechanic.

Experience with electrical controls.

Strong work ethic and flexibility to work independently and in teams.

Pay for Maintenance Mechanic: $28-$32/hour.
