Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 DOE + Comprehensive Benefits Package
Overview:
Osprey Talent Solutions is supporting a mission-focused national security partner seeking a Senior Web Application Developer to design and deliver secure, scalable web applications within a multi-enclave enterprise environment.
This role supports high-visibility investigative and data-driven mission systems. The selected candidate will lead frontend development efforts while collaborating across engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure performance, compliance, and operational resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using best development practices
Translate UI/UX wireframes into high-quality, production-ready code
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
Implement and maintain Section 508 accessibility compliance
Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services
Contribute to search functionality, reporting features, and dashboard capabilities
Apply secure coding practices to protect against vulnerabilities
Participate in Agile planning and release activities
Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership within the team Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Eight or more years of experience in web application development
Active TS/SCI clearance
Strong proficiency in Angular, React, or similar modern frontend frameworks
Advanced experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs
Working knowledge of backend technologies such as .NET, Python, or Node.js
Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
Strong understanding of web application security and performance optimization Preferred Experience:
Experience with GraphQL
Experience integrating search platforms such as Elasticsearch
Familiarity with messaging systems such as RabbitMQ or Redis
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience working within cloud environments supporting national security missions
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
Experience working in classified environments Work Environment:
On-site in Chantilly, VA
