Your Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior AI Engineer with a focus on full-stack development. You will report directly to the VP of AI Engineering and be responsible for engineering the backend systems that drive our agentic AI learning platform. This includes designing agent orchestration, and shaping evaluation strategies for LLMs and agents to enhance human-centered learning.
Your Key Responsibilities
Develop scalable APIs/services for AI agents, focusing on orchestration, memory management, tool use, and user interaction.
Implement evaluation frameworks to enhance agent performance and build actionable improvement cycles.
Create data flows/pipelines for real-time personalization and insights in learning.
Ensure data quality and accessibility for training and evaluating learning agents.
Enhance developer efficiency through solid API design and testing practices.
Full-stack Product Delivery
Deliver end-to-end product functionalities by implementing backend capabilities alongside lightweight web and mobile features.
Develop internal tools for evaluating, debugging, and iterating on product workflows.
Collaborate with product and design teams to ensure high-quality user experiences while maintaining scope and quality.
Site Reliability Foundations
Establish production readiness with monitoring, dashboards, and performance hygiene.
Contribute to automated testing and deployment pipelines for rapid iteration.
Participate in incident response and assist in shaping on-call procedures.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of production Python experience (or equivalent).
Expertise in AWS (Lambda, S3, CloudWatch).
Familiarity with systems combining LLMs, ML, and traditional software components.
Experience in agentic AI architectures such as CrewAI, LangChain, or similar frameworks.
Hands-on experience with evaluation methodologies for LLMs and AI systems.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CDK, Terraform).
Familiarity with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools.
Strong communication skills for updates and resolutions.
Proficient across the stack, including TypeScript, React/Next.js, and occasional mobile development in iOS/Swift and Android/Kotlin.
Experience in building production readiness and SRE foundations.
AI-Augmented Development
Active user of AI development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.) with recent personal projects.
Demonstrated success in using AI tools for productivity gains.
Enthusiasm for enhancing engineering with AI assistance.
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.

Compensation
The annual pay range for this position is $113,908.00 - $182,287.00. Actual offers will be determined based on skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity, with a target hiring range of $125,868.00 - $170,293.00.
