EMS Dispatcher

Critical Care Transport is looking for hard working reliable individuals who are ready to serve the central Ohio community in our Communications Center. We are primarily an emergency medical response service that has been serving the greater Columbus area for 20 years and rely on our Dispatchers to provide exceptional service to the community we serve. Our dispatchers are the first line in customer service and patient care and are foundational to our mission.

Some of the skills required to be an effective Communication Specialists are the following:

* Handle and prioritize multiple in-bound calls.

* Process emergency calls and efficiently dispatch appropriate units

* Have a good working knowledge of Columbus and be able to quickly determine the closest appropriate responders.

* Provide reliable dispatch Information to emergency responders

* Stay calm in stressful situations

* Ability to Problem Solve

* Efficient typing with minimal errors
