Responsible for administering, analyzing, and communicating team member benefit programs. This role ensures benefits are compliant with regulations, competitive in the market, and clearly understood by team members, while serving as a key point of contact for benefits-related questions and issues.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Administering team member benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives
Serving as the primary contact for team member benefits inquiries and issue resolution
Coordinating benefits enrollment, open enrollment, and life event changes
Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local benefits regulations (e.g., ERISA, COBRA, ACA, FMLA)
Maintaining accurate benefits records and team member data in HRIS systems
Administering Leave of Absence paperwork, processing, and communications with team members
Acting as the liaison with benefits vendors, brokers, and insurance carriers
Assisting with benefits audits, reporting, and required filings
Analyzing benefits utilization and costs; recommending improvements or changes
Developing and distributing benefits communications and educational materials
Supporting the HR team with benefits-related projects and initiatives
Meeting with team members upon termination and process benefits paperwork related to departure
Other duties as assigned by Human Resource Team Manager
Attending webinars and seminars as it relates to the benefits and compliance requirements
Acting as the back up to receptionist and front lobby WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU A GREAT FIT:
Ability to prioritize projects and work independently to meet deadlines
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to be organized and detail oriented
Experience in Microsoft Office software and general computer skills
Ability to adhere to company's confidentiality policy regarding company & team member personal data
Knowledgeable of basic office equipment, i.e., copy machine, fax machine, phone systems
2+ years' experience working in HR Benefits administration
2+ years' experience in Leave of Absence Administration
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
