HR Generalist

We are seeking an HR Generalist who is equally comfortable navigating complex employee situations, supporting leaders, and keeping HR operations running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing the people side of HR with the operational side and wants to make a meaningful impact inside a collaborative, values-driven organization.
This position supports multiple teams across our Columbus operations, including Easton Town Center, one of the most dynamic mixed-use environments in the Midwest.

What You'll Do
The HR Generalist will serve as a trusted partner to employees and leaders while ensuring HR programs and processes are executed effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
Employee Relations & Leadership Support
Partner with leaders to address employee concerns, performance issues, and workplace challenges
Conduct investigations and support resolution of sensitive personnel matters
Coach managers on employee communication, performance management, and policy application
HR Operations
Support and maintain HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and HRIS updates
Ensure HR documentation, compliance requirements, and employee records are accurate and up to date
Assist with HR reporting, analytics, and organizational insights
Recruitment & Talent Support
Support recruiting activities including job postings, candidate coordination, and interview scheduling
Partner with hiring managers to help ensure a positive candidate experience
Employee Experience
Support employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
Assist with company events, recognition programs, and culture initiatives
Compliance & Policy Support
Ensure compliance with company policies as well as federal, state, and local employment regulations
Support updates to HR policies, procedures, and internal documentation
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is professional, approachable, organized, and confident navigating real-world HR challenges.
Preferred qualifications include:
3–6 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR role
Experience supporting employee relations issues and workplace investigations
Strong organizational and follow-through skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with HRIS systems (Paycor experience a plus)
