Duration: 13 weeks (travel nurse contract)

Shift: Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (12-hour shifts)

Schedule: Every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,570 - $1,650 per week

Job Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — state license or multistate compact RN accepted

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience in a hospital or acute care setting

ACLS certification preferred

Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend as required for this travel nursing role

Must be able to provide home address and Social Security Number (SSN) upon submission for credentialing and background checks

Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse eligibility)

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate medical-surgical nursing care to adult inpatients

Perform thorough patient assessments, monitor patient status, and document findings in the EMR

Administer medications and treatments safely according to physician orders and facility protocols

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, case managers) to develop and implement patient care plans

Educate patients and families on diagnoses, care plans, and post-discharge instructions

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system

Adhere to hospital policies, clinical best practices, and patient safety standards in a busy Med/Surg unit
