Location: Springdale, AR 72764 — Northwest Arkansas travel nurse opportunity

Unit: Med/Surg (EXT-Other 911)

Start Date: March 30, 2026

End Date: June 29, 2026

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (12-hour shifts) — night shift Med/Surg RN

Schedule: Every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

On-Site: This is an on-site hospital position

Job Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg RN experience preferred

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification preferred

Must be able to provide home address and Social Security Number upon submission

Travelers must live more than 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse eligibility)

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg patients as a Registered Nurse

Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document changes in condition

Administer medications and IV therapies safely according to hospital policy

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Assist with procedures, treatments, and care planning on the Med/Surg unit

Educate patients and families on diagnoses, care plans, and discharge instructions

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR)

Float to other units as needed to support hospital staffing
