Main Duties:
Partner with the MD to allocate resources and oversee full-cycle bookkeeping, billing, and bank processing
Prepare reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments to ensure ledger accuracy
Relate financial results to commercial operations, investigating variances and identifying areas of concern
Leverage BI tools and reporting systems to provide clear, detailed explanations of financial performance
Manage monthly payroll processing and all related statutory filings
Oversee VAT and income tax returns, including the management of payments and refunds
Review AP, AR, and inventory to optimize cash flow and working capital requirements
Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial reforecasts
Manage banking relationships and compile financial data for credit proposals and funding
What skills do you need?
Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)
Proven experience in a similar financial role, preferably within the healthcare, importation, or retail sectors
Ability to translate complex data into actionable commercial insights and strategic advice
Experience in financial reporting software, BI tools, and advanced Excel
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage small teams and collaborate effectively with executive-level stakeholders
Deep understanding of local tax laws (VAT/Income Tax) and financial reporting standards
Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
