POSITION SUMMARY: The Architectural Intern supports the Architecture team with design, documentation, and project-related tasks while gaining hands-on experience in a professional design environment. This role provides exposure to real projects across multiple phases, working alongside architects, engineers, and designers under the guidance of licensed professionals.

REPORTS TO: Architect

SUPERVISES: No supervisory duties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assist with architectural design and documentation using Revit and other design tools

Support the development of drawings, plans, details, and construction documents

Assist with producing and maintaining BIM models in accordance with office standards

Support project teams with specifications, research, and basic cost information

Participate in design charrettes, coordination meetings, and internal project discussions

Assist with submittals, RFIs, and other construction administration tasks as appropriate

Participate in site visits to observe construction progress and design implementation

Prepare presentation materials, renderings, and graphics for internal and client use

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture

Junior- or Senior-level student preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Working knowledge of Revit and basic familiarity with architectural drafting and modeling preferred

Understanding of fundamental architectural design principles and construction concepts

Ability to follow direction, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks

Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate in a team-based environment

Interest in learning about the architectural profession, project workflows, and firm operations
