Lead Software Developer (755050)

Works with the Technical Director, Technical Architect, App/Web Developer, Database Administrator, System Administrator, Project Management, Account Management and Creative to create best-in-class applications, completing all requirements and meeting usability expectations. Development and maintenance of microservices in REST. Estimates timeline for assigned projects and ensures that work is completed with the estimate given. Provides leadership in the development and implementation of short- and long-term technology plans and related policies and procedures. Takes a lead role in establishing and implementing standards that will facilitate a quality IT infrastructure all clients. Develops interfaces with cloud platforms like GCP. Creates integrations with backend systems like Oracle and MongoDB.

5 years of experience as software engineer or related. Experience to include demonstrated working knowledge of: GE Smallworld; Magik Programming language; Spatial Database (Oracle & PostGreSQL); and REST services.

Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related, or foreign academic equivalent.

This position is eligible to telecommute 100% of the time from anywhere in the United States.
