Cad Cam Operator/Programmer

Job Description

Job Overview:

This position requires knowledge of Cad Cam and multi axis machine operations and/or programming. Maintaining, setting, and adjusting the machine are all part of the operator's daily tasks. This is a unique environment unlike standard machine operations.

Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate CNC machines to fabricate parts according to blueprints

- Perform quality checks on machined parts to ensure they meet specifications

- Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machinery as needed

- Collaborate with engineers and production team to optimize machining processes

-Maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications a Plus:

- Proficiency in operating multi axis machines, including mills

- Knowledge of CAD CAM software for part design

- Ability to read and interpret drawings

- Familiarity with welding, hand tools, and forklift operation

- Strong mathematical skills for measurements and calculations

- Ability to fabricate parts using various materialsCompany Description
