About Ektimisi: Ektimisi is a consulting firm specialised in third-party monitoring (TPM), evaluations, research, and capacity building.

We work with NGOs in Iraq and Syria.

We are expanding our pool of field trainers to support potential upcoming training assignments (online and/or face-to-face) in Iraq and Syria.

This is not a full time job.

International applicants are encouraged to apply as there might be online trainings which can be conducted online.

Key Sectors for Training: SME Support & Business Development Investment & Business Analysis Governance & Corporate Leadership Financial Management, Modeling, Bookkeeping, & Accounting Capital Raising & Fundraising Strategies Marketing, Sales & Customer Engagement Sectoral Expertise: Textile, Construction, Agribusiness & Food Security Market Assessments, Value Chain Analysis, and Feasibility Studies Legal & Regulatory Compliance Technology & Digital Transformation Green Economy & Sustainability Energy & Utilities (Renewable energy, water management) Women & Youth Empowerment Gender / GBV Basics, Safe Referrals, and PSEA Child Protection and Positive Parenting / Child Resilience Mental Health & Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) PCM / MEAL and Reporting Proposal Writing, Grants Management, and Compliance Innovation & Research Export & International Trade Media and Advocacy Peace and Conflict Resolution Agriculture, Agribusiness, and Smart/Climate-Smart Agriculture Health & Safety in Workplace & Emergency Response Role and Responsibilities: Conduct a training needs assessment with the target participants and relevant stakeholders.

Analyze the findings and prepare a short training needs assessment report.

Develop the training curriculum and prepare all training materials and tools.

Deliver the training sessions (online and/or in-person, as required). Provide coaching/mentorship sessions to participants when requested.

Deliver face-to-face trainings in Iraq and/or Syria when the assignment is not online and field delivery is required.

Conduct pre- and post-tests and collect participant feedback to measure learning and satisfaction.

Draft and submit the final training report, including results, participant feedback, and recommendations.

Qualifications: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years delivering training.

Proven expertise in one or more of the key sectors above.

Ability to conduct training needs assessments and write short reports.

Ability to develop curricula and training materials.

Fluency in Arabic and/or Kurdish.

Fluency in English is highly preferable.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability and willingness to travel within Iraq and Syria when required.

Relevant university degree.

Computer skills (MS Office/ Zoom/ Google tools; online training platforms). Important to consider: CVs that do not meet these requirements will not be considered.
