Job Description
The Role:
As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for crafting compelling visual stories through the editing of video content. You will collaborate with the creative team to ensure that the final product aligns with the project vision and meets quality standards.
Edit and assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director's vision.
Collaborate with producers and directors to understand project goals and requirements.
Manage and organize video files and assets efficiently.
Ensure the final output is polished and ready for distribution across various platforms.
Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to enhance video quality.
Team Structure: You will work closely with a team of creatives, including producers, directors, and graphic designers.
Ideal Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and creative flair.
2.5 to 3 years work experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
Understanding of color grading and audio editing.
Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects.
Strong attention to detail and storytelling ability.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Education: A degree in Film, Media, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
