SQL Database Administrator

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise database environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL databases and a proven ability to ensure high availability, performance, and data integrity in mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities Install, configure, administer, and maintain SQL Server, Oracle and/or PostgreSQL databases Monitor database performance and proactively identify tuning and optimization opportunities Design, implement, and manage database backup, recovery, and replication strategies Ensure data availability, integrity, and security across production and non-production environments Manage high-availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) solutions, including failover and recovery testing Perform database patching, upgrades, and migrations with minimal downtime Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to support system requirements Maintain database documentation, operational procedures, and configuration records Support audits, compliance requirements, and best practices for database management Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience in database administration Strong hands-on experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL Proven expertise in database backup, recovery, and replication strategies Experience working in high-availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) environments Technical Skills Database performance tuning and optimization Backup and recovery tools and methodologies Replication technologies and failover mechanisms Database security, access control, and user management Experience with on-premises and/or cloud-based database environments is a plus Key Competencies Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and documentation skills Please send your resume/CV
