Equipment Operator - Pavement Marking & Striping

Job Description

We're hiring Pavement Marking Operators to join our striping crew! Hiring operators who value precision, hustle with purpose, and know those lines aren’t just paint — they matter. We’re looking for operators who can confidently run multiple types of striping equipment, deliver on production expectations, and prioritize safety while working in live traffic.

Key Responsibilities

Install pavement markings including paint, epoxy, thermoplastic, tape, MMA, and specialty markings on roadways and parking lots

Perform layout and pre-marking as required to ensure accuracy and compliance

Load materials and properly maintain striping equipment

Work safely within traffic control setups and live traffic environments

Maintain steady production to keep projects on schedule

Calculate field measurements using engineered plans and/or google earth images.

Track and record quantities of pavement markings on each project.

Perform standard, preventative maintenance on all pavement marking equipment.

Operate various equipment to install pavement markings, including airless paint machines, air-atomized paint trucks, thermoplastic trucks, thermoplastic detail units, thermoplastic hand-liners.

Required Qualifications

Previous experience in pavement marking, highway construction, or a related field is preferred

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment

Comfortable using modern technology, including smartphones and mobile applications

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required; CDL preferred.

Knowledge of OSHA regulations, DOT requirements, and construction safety best practices
