Machine Operator: Sterling, Illinois

Our customer in Sterling, Illinois, is seeking dependable individuals to join their production team. We’re recruiting Machine Operators to work full-time on 1st shift. In this role, you will be responsible for sewing and assembling heavy-duty materials while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards.

Responsibilities of the Machine Operator:

Operate industrial sewing machines to sew heavy and thick leather products accurately and efficiently.

Assemble components according to production specifications, work orders, and quality standards.

Inspect finished products for defects, consistency, and workmanship before moving to the next stage of production.

Adjust machine settings, thread tension, and stitch patterns as required for different materials.

Perform basic machine maintenance, including cleaning and reporting mechanical issues.

Maintain a clean and organized workstation to support safety and efficiency.

Follow all company safety policies and production procedures.

Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet daily output goals.

Machine Operator Requirements:

Industrial sewing experience is preferred.

Ability to work with heavy and thick materials for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and perform repetitive motions.

Reliable attendance and commitment to safety procedures.

Pay for Machine Operator: $15.00 per hour.
