Seeking an experienced **Maintenance Technician (Direct Hire)** to operate, maintain, and repair ammonia and nitrogen refrigeration systems in a food-production environment.

This role supports efficient freezing, storage, and plant cooling operations while ensuring safety, quality, and uptime.

Pay Rate: $35.85 / hour Duties: + Operate & maintain ammonia/nitrogen refrigeration systems, blast freezers, condensers, and chilled water systems + Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting & mechanical/electrical repairs + Monitor gauges, logs & system data for performance + Follow GMP, safety procedures & maintain clean work areas + Read manuals/blueprints; order parts; support other maintenance techs as needed . Position Requirements: + 1-3 years of hands-on industrial ammonia refrigeration experience + Experience with vacuum systems, screw compressors, storage/freezer systems + Nitrogen flash freezer experience preferred + Electrical, pipe fitting, pneumatics & hydraulics experience helpful Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old.Able to Lift 50 pounds., required education: HS Diploma or GED.
