Full Stack JavaScript Developer (Node/Typescript)

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Full Stack JavaScript Developer (Node/Typescript) in Greenwood Village, CO.

Summary: As a Full Stack JavaScript Developer (Node/Typescript), you will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs supporting modern cloud-based applications.

This role focuses on developing high-quality RESTful APIs, improving system performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure solutions.

The ideal candidate has strong experience building backend services in Node.js within AWS environments and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js * Build and support RESTful APIs to enable integration across internal and external systems * Develop cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services and best practices * Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following modern development standards * Collaborate with frontend engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders to define and deliver technical solutions * Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability * Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support as needed * Contribute to architectural discussions and help drive best practices in backend development* Strong hands-on experience with Node.js development * Proven experience building backend services and RESTful APIs * Experience developing and deploying applications in AWS cloud environments * Experience with version control systems such as Git * Solid understanding of backend architecture, system design, and API best practices * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with Python development * Telecommunications industry experience * Experience with TypeScript * Familiarity with Java development * Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems
