JOB SUMMARY: Exposes photo stencils, finishes and repairs screens by performing the following duties.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES: Receives job assignments, positives, and positioning requirements from Production Supervisor Use mesh type and screen framed indicated on job specifications.

Mix photo emulsion according to procedure, or obtain photo stencil direct film, and apply to screen.

Position film positive on sensitized screen according to requirements.

Insert screen in vacuum frame, expose to light source, and wash out excess emulsion according to procedure.

Tape and block out perimeter of screen.

Check screen for pinholes on light table and repair stencil when necessary.

Secure cell leader's approval when screen is ready for press.

Repair or replace screens which have broken down on press.

Observe all safety rules.

Support the quality policy, objectives and the quality system requirements.

Inspections to be performed using only approved procedures, specifications, and equipment.

Perform other duties as assigned or required.
