This is a full-time, home-office-based role joining our fast-growing team working in Latin America, with core hours aligned to Eastern time.
What You'll be doing
You'd be joining our team to contribute to the development of our client's Education member management platform, to ensure our client's administrators, instructors and students can manage their Education needs. In addition to leading our project team, this will involve close partnership and collaboration with our client, and include a Web operator/instructor portal, Mobile member app, and CRM/Payments integration.
As a technical lead, you'll get the opportunity to lead a group of engineers and work with cutting-edge new technologies that will change the way people view and "do" fitness. You are responsible for setting and achieving the company and team's goals. You'll work across departments to obtain the necessary hardware, data and deadlines; all together creating the best product possible for our clients.
We are looking for a problem solver who will work on identifying and removing roadblocks, including software debugging, handling complex projects and dealing with metrics not met.
Responsibilities:
Analyze, design, and lead technical solutions as an architect
Delegate work and assignments to team members
Collaborate with the team to identify and fix technical problems
Designing and developing complete software solutions.
Analyze users' needs and define applications to serve them
Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
Check that software and applications are updated
Supervise system modifications
Conduct security audits to identify areas of improvement
Guide the team through technical issues and challenges
Mentor and help grow team members as professionals
Use Gen AI to enhance your efficiency.
Perform other related duties as assigned, in alignment with the evolution of the role.
Requirements
Your skills
What We require
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in a similar role leading a small team.
4+ years of experience working with ReactJS and NodeJS
4+ years of experience working with relational and non-relational databases
Excellent knowledge of TypeScript
Excellent knowledge of programming languages and technologies like React, ReactNative, NodeJS, CSS, Express, and AWS.
Experience with integrating third-party services and APIs
Knowledge of the latest technologies, industry trends, and best practices
Fluent in written and oral English.
Knowledge of code versioning tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working in a multicultural environment.
Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong leadership and organizational abilities working in a remote environment.
