Department Bio
The Office of Online Programs (ESIA Online) in the Elliott School of International Affairs supports the development, delivery, and maintenance of online graduate courses. The office provides Elliott School faculty and staff with resources and guidance on effective online instruction. ESIA Online also supports the multimedia production of instructor videos, and assists with course maintenance and readiness procedures to facilitate successful course launches prior to each semester.
Position Specific Summary
The Student Program Coordinator III will assist with project management, instructor communication, multimedia production, Blackboard course maintenance, and quality assurance reviews to support the ongoing success of online graduate courses in the Elliott School of International Affairs.
Note: This is a part-time position (approximately 10 hours per week). The job duties will be performed during the Summer 2026 academic term (May 4, 2026- August 31, 2026).
Key Responsibilities:
Track and update course development progress, organizing course deliverables, sharing resources, managing materials, and sending project deadline reminders
Complete video editing projects and maintain inventory of instructor- recorded lectures
Organize, maintain, and update faculty resources and instructional guides
Assist with course readiness tasks in Blackboard prior to the start of each term, including quality assurance reviews and content verification
Support communication with online instructors via shared office email account
Perform general administrative tasks to support the operations of the office
Other special projects or duties may be assigned related to specific office needs
Note: This role is ideal for a self-directed and detail-oriented student with an interest in instructional design, higher education, media production, project coordination, communications, or digital content management. Undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply.
Standard Position Description
The student will assist in the management and leading of program(s).
Tasks may include leading and organizing programs; designing and implementing program timelines, goals, communications, and budgets; serving as a primary point of contact for the program; coordinating with collaborators and other departments reporting updates and outcomes; training and managing student staff.
Special projects or other duties may be assigned related to specific departmental needs.
