Job Title: Senior Estimator

Job Location: Dublin, OH

Base Salary: $125K-$175K

Requirements: 5+ years of large parcel estimating experience, involving data center and/or warehouse projects.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team, specializing in civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates for various projects, including data centers, warehouses, and utilities. The Senior Estimator will work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure that all estimates meet the project's specifications and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects including data centers, warehouses, and utilities.

Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and required resources.

Utilize estimating software such as HCSS Heavybid and/or AGTEK for efficient bid preparation.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.

Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data for more accurate bidding.

Review and adjust estimates based on project changes or new information.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators and team members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating within the civil construction industry.

Proficiency in estimating software such as HCSS Heavybid and/or AGTEK.

Strong understanding of grading, earthwork, and utility construction.
