Operate adjust and maintain high pressure and associated heating ventilation and air conditioning equipment. Operate and monitor plant operations control systems and maintain logs. Receive and respond to requests for maintenance service or repairs.

1.1 Accurately identifies equipment needed.
2. Boiler Plant Operation
2.1 Chemical treatment of boiler and associated systems
3. Chiller plant operation
3.1 Performs operational checks on operating chillers
4. Fire Alarm System
4.1 Respond to all fire alarm activations/smell of smoke
5. HVAC
5.1 Understand all AHU operational parameters
6. DDC system operation
6.1 Monitors systems for proper operation
7. General Maintenance
7.1 Painting/ Patching
8. Electrical
8.1 Maintains and operates the generator.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
High School graduate or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE
6 months of work-related experience or equivalent training in Plant Operations preferred
LICENSURE
Boiler Operators License or equivalent license preferred. The following licenses will be accepted: Any state boiler operator license or plumbing/ Pipefitter license.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Knowledge of steam boiler operation, HVAC, power generators, plumbing, painting/patching and general knowledge of trade skills YNHHS Requisition ID
