Maintenance Supervisor (Sand Plant)

The Maintenance Supervisor leads the plant's maintenance operations across multiple shifts or departments. This leadership role ensures the safe, efficient, and cost-effective upkeep of mechanical, electrical, and structural systems. Drive's reliability improvements, project planning, and personnel development.

Responsibilities

Assign daily tasks to maintenance technicians and mechanics (Levels I - Senior).

Monitor work orders and ensure timely completion through CMMS.

Coordinate emergency and routine maintenance with operations teams.

Ensure adherence to safety procedures, LOTO, and regulatory requirements.

Assist with scheduling, parts ordering, and contractor oversight.

Support training and mentoring of junior maintenance staff.

Report maintenance KPIs and status updates to plant leadership.

Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.

5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including mechanical and/or electrical systems.

High level of safety and quality.

Ability to multi-task at a fast pace (at times), work in outside conditions during all seasons, climb multi-levels by stairs & ladders, work from elevated platforms, use hand tools (shovel, hammer, wrenches, etc.).

Good problem-solving skills.

Mine Safety and Health (MSHA) Knowledge - Preferred.

Forklift experience - Preferred.

Computer Software - Preferred.

Warehouse experience - Preferred.

Prior experience in a lead or supervisory maintenance role preferred.

Must be local or willing to relocate in area.
