Job Title: Scheduler – Industrial, Power, Utilities, Combined Cycle
Must be available to travel with per diem to project location and work on-site.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Scheduler with a strong background in Combined Cycle projects within the Industrial, Power, and Utilities sectors. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of scheduling experience and a proven track record using Primavera P6 to drive successful project execution. This mid-senior level role requires precision, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to coordinate across teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project objectives.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to collect progress updates and integrate schedule data.
• Analyze project scope, drawings, and contract requirements to build and maintain comprehensive baseline schedules.
• Track project progress, identify risks or delays, and recommend mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Provide regular schedule status reports, critical path analyses, and forecasting updates to key stakeholders.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to align their deliverables within the master project schedule.
• Update and revise schedules as changes occur, ensuring clear communication and documentation of all modifications.
• Participate in project meetings to present schedule insights, recommendations, and performance metrics.
• Uphold scheduling standards, procedures, and best practices consistent with industry and company requirements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• 10+ years of experience scheduling within the Industrial, Power, and Utilities industries, including Combined Cycle projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 is required; additional experience with Microsoft Project is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple priorities, schedules, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Familiarity with construction methodologies, EPC project execution, and related regulations.
• Must be available to travel with per diem to project locations including Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Louisiana.
