Scotsman Manufacturing Co. is seeking to hire a Custom Countertop Sales Representative. This is a full-time position in our Laurel, MS office. The right person for this job is outgoing, friendly, and self-motivated. While a portion of this position can be done from a desk, the ideal candidate is hands-on and values in-person communication. Prior experience in B2B or customer recruitment is preferred.
Qualified candidates possess the following qualities:
Friendly, outgoing, demeanor
Excels in professional communication, both verbal and written formats
Able to operate multiple technological systems (email, CRM, phone, custom quote software) independently or with the help of video tutorials
Able to schedule and perform client check-ins and keep customers up-to-date on their orders
Willing to travel to commercial vendors as needed
Prior experience in sales is preferred
Prior woodworking experience is not required, but candidates will need to learn the manufacturing process to best communicate with customers
Must be able to work daily from our Laurel, MS office.
